Members of the United Steelworkers union employed by Goldcorp Inc. in Timmins, Ont., have ratified a collective agreement that includes a six per cent wage increase over three years.
The 275 members of USW Local 7580 will also receive a $1,500 signing bonus as well as improvements in pensions, benefits and contract language.
The union said 93 per cent of votes cast were in favour of the agreement.
Goldcorp is one of Canada's largest gold producers.
